Storyline: Do you remember being twelve—almost, almost thirteen? Do you remember a warm, almost-summer day, reciting lines to your favorite movie with your best friends? Do you remember the lengths that you would go to, trying to figure out whether or not you liked someone, and if they liked you back?
"Pretty All the Time" is a short coming-of-age comedy about a love triangle between three 12-year-old nerds: Margaret, Alvin, and Terry. This script won American University's Outstanding Short Screenplay award and the DC Shorts screenwriting contest in 2009. If you ever watched "The Princess Bride" and were able to recite every line of dialogue or learned about sex from romance novels or if you grew up to be awesome after making a lot of mistakes--this is your movie.
