CIRO ALTABÁS (Zaragoza, 1977) Soon he had to pack his stuff and move first to Madrid and later on, to Los Angeles an London to study filmmaking. His short films “Phobia”, “DVD”, “Made in Japan”, “A Practical Guide for Imaginary Friends (abreviated)” and his documentary “Hobby” have won more than 150 awards in festivals around the world. Ciro Altabás has written screenplays for feature films and tv-movies for Manga Films and Vaca Films. Besides, he has taught Film Directing in Camilo José Cela University, collaborated as a video-game expert for the magazine “Primera Línea”, and translated some works for the publishing house “8 1/2”.
