The Frederick Film Festival is proud to kickoff the events leading up to the Fourth Frederick Film Festival with the annual Kickoff Musical Event on June 9 with Maryland’s own first lady of boogie-woogie Deanna Bogart. The event, which starts at 8:30, is sponsored and catered by Brewer’s Alley and the admission price includes food and beverages! Tickets to this year’s event will be limited so an intimate night listening to Deanna Bogart is sure to be an early summer treat not to be missed.

In 1988 she formed her own band and began touring the east and west coasts building an audience and a following that remains fanatically loyal before recording her first album in 1989.
