CinemArts and The Weinberg Center for the Arts is proud to present the 2009 Frederick Film Festival - The F3.

The Festival promises to be a premiere event taking place at the Weinberg Center, an early 20th Century movie palace - which opened 1926 as the Tivoli Theater, and the Cultural Arts Center - in the heart of beautiful Downtown Frederick, Maryland.

This first F3 will feature East Coast, regional and statewide premieres of independent, foreign, and documentary film - both feature length and shorts. The festival promises not only a weekend of movies, but special guests/events that will serve to establish the F3 as one of the region's premiere gatherings of film, film professionals, and film enthusiasts.

The weekend will include special guests, speakers, panels, question and answer periods, and gatherings of film professionals, actors, actresses, and other personalities including Opening Night Guest John Waters and Closing Night performers Cold Hard Cash.

Please check the guest list often as it is sure to grow right up to the opening of the festival!
