The F3 is proud to announce its opening night guest, Baltimore writer and director John Waters who will be kicking off the opening night events with his acclaimed spoken word piece "This Filthy World"!

Waters has written and directed such films as “Hairspray,” “A Dirty Shame,”  “Serial Mom,”  "Polyester," and "Pink Flamingos."

Saturday Night's closing event includes the screening of the new documentary film "Johnny Cash: At Folsom Prison" followed by a concert by acclaimed regional band Cold Hard Cash...you just might think you're with the Man in Black and the Tennessee Three.

Numerous film professionals will be on hand to talk about their movies. Mark Thimijan, the director of Barstool Cowboy, will be in attendance, as will other directors like David Butler, Peter Mullett, Frederick's own Nando Amabile, and a representation from the 72 Film Fest.
